As usual, tickets are cheaper if you buy online ahead of time… and even cheaper if you split it with a date. So go ask that hot chick/dude you saw at the bar or the tailgate and come have some fun with AO Boston!

Hey-o AO!,

US – Spain Buses

We are happy to announce that we have SOLD OUT our first two buses to the US Spain game! It seems that there is still enough interest that we will be taking payments for a second bus from The Banshee. We will only be running the bus if we get enough people to cover the cost. If we don’t we will be refunding all money sent for that bus… so send in your money now! (paypal $25 to americanoutlawsboston@gmail.com)

Tickets

As you may have heard from AO, the tickets will be sent out mid-May. We here in Boston have nothing to do with the tickets being handled, so sorry that we don’t have any answers. AO National has the tickets and will send them out; we hear that a lot of tickets have been sold which means this game should be great.

New Shirts for US – Spain

Check out the image below. It pretty much sums it all up. Also note that the money raised by these shirts is helping to fund the bus trip/tailgate… as if you needed another reason to buy. There’s only 100. Act now!

US – Spain Tailgate

The buses will be dropping everyone off in the lot that we have secured for our very own tailgate for AO members. We are planning to have food grilled and ready for you, donations will be accepted to cover the costs of the food, and because of MA liquor laws we will not provide or sell any alcohol day of game. Please bring your own. We will have space under the bus for storage for coolers, and have some common cooler space, but it will be minimal.

Want to get involved? Well, here is your chance, whether you are on the bus or not! We need volunteers to help with cooking, food prep, setup and clean up day of game. Don’t want to spend time at tailgate cooking but still want to help? Well we could use some extra coolers for food storage. If you are interested in a 45 minute volunteer slot or have a cooler you could loan out to us (promise you will get it back) please contact jrkumor@gmail.com for questions or more information. We will have something special to share with our volunteers.

Driving down to the stadium, contact AmericanOutlawsBoston@gmail.com to get a special parking coupon available to members only. This coupon will get you $10 off parking in our lot.

Parking lots will open at 12:30 and we will be marching over to the stadium at 3:00pm, so come with your voices ready to cheer and stand for 90 minutes – and wear RED!

April 19, 2011

The date: July 11th, 2009.

The place: A variety of roads between Boston and Foxboro, MA.

The Bus:Awesome!

Fast forward to this summer, and guess what!? The Bus just got awesomer!

awesome bus

Join us June 4th, 2011 for
Awesome Bus 2.0: Cruise Control.

Those of you who joined us last time got to see Stu Holden smash in a late goal to earn a point for Yanks B-side against a surprising Haiti side.

This time the stakes have been raised. The United States are taking on Spain, the number one team in the world, and they will need all the supporters they can get as the prepare for the 2011 Gold Cup.

We will be departing from the Phoenix Landing in Cambridge and the Banshee Pub in Dorchester no later than 11:30 and arriving at the American Outlaws tailgate across the street from Gillette Stadium at 12:30. The buses will then be returning to the bars about 30 minutes after the match.

You can reserve your spot on a bus from either bar for $25. How?

Just send $25 to americanoutlawsboston@gmail.com via PayPal and during the purchase indicate which bar you will be getting the bus at.

Dorchester, MA
JFK/UMass stop on the Red Line
www.bansheeboston.com

Phoenix Landing
512 Mass Ave.
Cambridge, MA
Central Sq. stop on the Red Line

Please sign-up now as these will fill up. There is intense interest in these buses not just from you, our local members, but from US fans flying in from around the country for the game. The buses are scheduled to leave the bars no later than 11:30 am and return to the bars no later than 9:00pm.

Tailgate

AO is putting on a great tailgate for this event. Food will be provided for all AO members in the lot for free, though donations are appreciated. Also, due to very strict Foxboro liquor laws the tailgate will be BYOB. We WILL NOT BE PROVIDING BOOZE! So stock up before you get on the bus (there is a liquor store next to the Banshee and a few within walking distance on Mass Ave. near the Phoenix Landing).

Hey Outlaws,

Tickets
Tickets don’t go on sale to the general public until next Wednesday, April 20 but since you’re special you can order them now through AO National. Members can purchase tickets in the supporters section, behind the goal, at $52 and non-members can purchase them at $57. It’s in your best interest to buy these tickets sooner rather than later as this game is expected to sell out. We will not have last minute extras for people.

Buy your tickets now.

Parking
We’ve secured a private lot across from Gillette Stadium at this game. Many options were bandied about but we decided this was the best one. There are many benefits to going with this private lot, most notably a four hour tailgate before the game-more on that later. We’ve also locked in a discounted parking rate of $30 at this lot. We’ve checked with other lots around Gillette and all will be $40 or more. We will be sending a parking pass out to members and those who bought tickets. You won’t need the pass to park in our lot but you will need it to get the discount. Please don’t abuse this pass and send it to all your friends, it’s one of the benefits you get for being a member. All USA fans are welcome to the tailgate and our lot. Please contact Garrett for any questions on this.  If your group or chapter is sending a bus have them contact Garrett. AO members and chapters will get priority.

W. C. Motorsport (that’s the lot)
59 Washington Street (Route 1)
Foxborough‎ MA

Tailgate
AO is putting on a great tailgate for this event and we’re looking for people to help make it even better. This Monday at 6:30pm there will be a planning meeting for the tailgate with the other AO New England chapters at Bar Louie at Patriot Place. If you want to help out at the tailgate or have some cool ideas please email Julie or, better yet, attend this meeting.

Buses
We’re working on running buses to this game from our bars in Boston. The deal isn’t set in stone but we’re working on it and should have it very soon for you guys. If you have questions please email us.

Night Before
The night before party on Friday, June 3 will beat the Banshee in Dorchester, easily accessible via the JFK/UMASS stop on the Red Line. The American Craft Beer Fest is taking place that night too at the Seaport World Trade Center from 6-9:30pm We’re not officially doing anything with that event but if you’re interested in hitting that up before going to the Banshee go for it. For questions please email Chris.

XOXO,
AO Boston

December 20, 2010
We just wanted to take a second to thank everyone involved in The Second Annual American Outlaws Winter Ball.
It was, once again, a smashing success. We raised over $2000 for America Scores Boston and were able to have a really awesome party in the process.
There was dancing, a raffle with practice worn gear from the New England Revolution, a gift card from The Haven in JP which has been getting great reviews, and some really great t-shirts from the dudes at Objectivo (seriously, check out their site.) There were also people that attended that claimed to “never stop” and that they “wouldn’t stop.” Not sure if they are still in fact going or not and if anyone has any information on this situation, please let us know.
Another thing many people noticed was the great music.  If you liked what you heard or want to keep up with AO: Boston’s resident DJ, please check out BDThursday.com or check out the facebook fan page where you can hear more from DJ Sohn.
If you want to check out pictures from the night or have some of your own to share head over to our facebook page.
Next up for AO: Boston is a trip to LA in January and then the Gold Cup this summer. Let us know if you’re planning to head LA and stay tuned for AO: Boston travel plans for the summer.
Happy Holidays!
